Restrictions on membership
In New Zealand, prohibitions on access to firearms are strictly enforced through Firearms Prohibition Orders (FPOs), bans on high-risk or gang-affiliated individuals.
An FPO completely bans a person from accessing, possessing, or using firearms, airguns, and restricted weapons, and disqualifies them from holding a license.
When a temporary protection order is issued against an individual, they cannot attend our meetings.
You cannot use or handle firearms in New Zealand if your firearms license is suspended.
